Love Lightning started playing together in Westwood Village a long time ago. Alan had recently switched from his electric guitar based music to acoustic for a change, and the new sound worked out well. It has been a long journey from Southern California in the '60s to Pacific Northwest neo-victorian and California beach town life today. Love Lightning is for Love Light, Hope, and Fun. The lyrics reflect these core values. The Time Flys album is a blend of acoustic and electric sounds, with the main tracks recorded live like we play them now. The album has some new songs, notably Standing Up for Love and My Phone. It also has new arrangements of many of the songs we play live in the way we like to hear them now. We hope you like it.
